Dane Becker is a sophisticated and accomplished pianist, composer, and vocalist from the Philadelphia area. His musical ability is defined by his soul, adaptability, and creativity.

 

Dane began studying music at the age of nine, and his affinity for music has all but grown. A formal education in jazz and classical coupled with an interest in countless genres gives his sound a remarkable uniqueness. During his grade school years, Dane made a name for himself playing live with his band, writing music, and “participating in experiences” some of which include opening for Kamasi Washington, competing at The Stone Pony, playing alongside Lou Marini, Bob Dorough, Su Terry, and attending PMEA State Jazz Band and NAfME All-Eastern Band.

 

As a graduate of Temple University’s jazz program, Dane continues to compose, perform, and learn new skills to further him in his musical career
